Is CRW-Airsoft anygood?

Postby CalzRobinson » Sat Feb 06, 2010 10:30 am

Hey everyone.

I found this website somewhere on the Forum http://www.crw-airsoft.com/ and I was wondering if anyone has purchased any sort of rifle off it?

Or is it some sort of scam?

Anyone know?

Thanks
Calz

well as far as I recall they're legitimate, but they are based in HK so you'll have to pay the inordinate shipping fees and VAT when it hits UK shores.

EDIT: can't seem to find a review on Arnies, but I've seen the shop before and doesn't register as a fraudulent shop in my mind

for amusement check out waterloo airsoft http://www.waterloo.hk/english/index.asp yes that is a real shop and people took the plunge and they are actually genuine. Personally tho I'd recommend RSOV for clones or WGC or Uncompany for non clones from HK as tehy're much bigger better priced and larger stock range than CRW.

Can you order a rifle from RSOV to get delivered to England? and would you need the UKARA to get an RIF?

you will need a UKARA number to get ANY RIF from ANYWHERE, customs will check for UKARA not the retailers, though any reputable retailer will ask you for UKARA before shipping to the UK.

And yes RSOV, WGC, Uncompany all ship to England, however you'll want to order very quickly if you do as its Chinese new year soon, so everyone goes on holiday :P

If your after a clone just go to land warrior airsoft. Much easier to deal with if anything goes wrong, theyre based in Scotland.

Your best off playing a few more times and getting your Ukara so you don't have a green gun etc. But failing that Airsoft armouries do clear classic army sportline m4's and that so try there first.

fire support have actually stoped doing two tone because it turns out its illegal to turn an RIF into an IF or something stupid so therefore factory parts have to be fitted which are made from coloured injection moudled plastic from what i have recently read.

on the other hand i heard CRW are pretty decent and people are happy with there "retro 80s SAS" range.
they will also break guns down for you
